Here lurks chaos. And Witchers. And Fallout. And American History. And Alexander Hamilton. And feminism. And politics. Basically the inside of my mind, so I'm sorry ahead of time for traumatizing you. But I love you and will bake you cookies if you decide to stay.
Ugh, watching a documentary and it mentions ancient serpent worship in early religions (and iconography in Masonic rites) and just want to scream since no one realizes the association of serpents with ancient Goddess worship. Serpents are routinely aligned with female gods. So 1. How does this influence the interpretation of snake mounds, and 2. Oh the irony, since the Masons are a male-only organization.
when your pet comes to you from another room, the preceding moments meant that they were alone somewhere and thought about YOU, an animal brain literally thought about you and came to you to see what you were doing. that’s love, unconditional.
underappreciated aspect of goncharov is its utility as a descriptor for any still-parseable fandom content whose source material you’re completely unfamiliar with. you know what I’m talking about. meme about characters you’ve never heard of from a show you’ve never seen, but you’re still nodding like you’re so right op they would totally say that. art that goes hard but might as well be a portrait of someone’s dentist for all you know. your blorbos twice removed. it’s all goncharov, to me.
“This is goncharov to me” = “I don’t know any of these people”
my husband isn’t on tumblr but he saw this post and made this for me
